On Finite-time Anti-Saturated Proximity Control with a Tumbling Non-Cooperative Space Target

For the challenging problem that a spacecraft approaches tumbling target with non-cooperative maneuver, an anti-saturated proximity control method is proposed in this paper. First, brand-new appointed-time convergent performance function developed via exploring Bézier curve to quantitatively characterize transient and steady-state behaviors of pose tracking error system. The major advantage actuator saturation phenomenon at beginning can be effectively reduced. Then, controller devised along adaptive compensator. Wherein, finite-time stability both its velocity signals are guaranteed simultaneously presence saturation. Finally, 2 groups illustrative examples organized verify close-range realized even unknown maneuver.
